Summary
Non-interference is how things should be, because with a still developing world around them, to impose themselves upon it and its people would be a perpetuation of an age old conflict. But things are never simple, and as the Chicago Wards find themselves in the Seven Kingdoms, they have to tread the delicate balance of ensuring the people of Westeros retain their autonomy while still trying to change an unfair system for the better.
The story features a group of super powered heroes who find themselves in an unfamiliar world, caught in a web of politics as various forces seek to turn them to their side. They are agents of change, a great power that comes with tremendous responsibility.
Gospel of the Lost Gods features a rotating roster of POV characters, Taylor is one of them but she is by no means they most important.
PS: The story is not about munchkinry of any kind, if that's what you're looking for then it might be the best idea to give this story a miss.

Summary
Growing up as a Hispanic kid wasn’t the easiest thing in Brockton Bay, and Taylor Hebert knew it all too well. Looking more like her mother Annette than her father Danny, racism had always been something that Taylor had to deal with. Even with how bad things could get, however, she never imagined that she'd have to uproot her entire life in Brockton Bay and flee to another city because of it.
Starting over in Chicago as its newest Ward, Taylor must juggle between the pressures of being a teenaged superhero, her intimidating power, and a civilian life that is still trying to heal from the scars of Brockton Bay.
