   Summary

   Avery started his break in the open world, thinking it would just be something fun to do. Turns out reality wanted to put Avery's belief of "I'd be the first person to die in a horror movie" to the test. Luckily for him, he had never passed a test with a 100% before. He should have died, but instead he met some living armor living alone in a hole that defied space, and decided that the armor deserves a proper house to live in.

   Avery keeps going to the crossroads, trying to keep D3rlord company. D3rlord is against this in every regard.

   It seemed like only minutes, seconds, eons ago he broke stone with flesh, etched dire warnings with quill, and had the confines of his own thoughts broken, seared, and torn asunder.
   What horrible words. Horrible, terrible words, really.
   D3rlord3 swallows, that sour, bitter tang resting at the back of his throat.

   The King was an inescapable force, he knows this. He knows it well.
   His voice lingers in the back of his mind, itching, scratching, tapping.
