Summary
A Daenerys-centric series borne from the 'What if?' & Fix-It trope, where Ser Arthur Dayne lives and help raise Princess Daenerys in exile, and follows Daenerys Targaryen as she forges a path that would bring her to her destined greatness.
The first, The Dragon's Ascent, follows Daenerys Targaryen's rise to power in Essos, where she remakes the geopolitical landscape as we know it.
The second, Rebirth Flames, follows her fated return to Westeros, where she deals with reuniting the fractured Seven Kingdoms and the threat of the Others.
Any future fics will explore the realm after the dawn has been restored and imagines what a Targaryen Renaissance looks like. (Will also post a non-linear companion fic where I post any missing scenes that was left on the cutting room floor from the main series.)

James knew that anyone who had graduated as Top Gun was welcome to teach anytime, and he knew Maverick and Iceman had only graduated a few years ago. But, again, they were the only two current naval aviators with air-to-air kills. They were living legends, and they could surely have their pick of deployments even if they wanted to stay together. A few of James’s classmates had been bold enough to ask about Iceman’s and Maverick’s reasons during their lectures, but even Maverick had been cagey with his answers that time.
