Jaster Mereel was fully willing to accept death when it came for him. He didn't think it would happen with a knife in his guts, or via Ion Cannons fired by cowardly Kyr'tsad who couldn't dare to look him in the eye as he was obliterated...but despite the hard pill to swallow, he was prepared to join the Manda after his failure on Korda Six. What the Mand'alor was not at all ready for, happens to be a towering, extremely cryptic Sith Lord who appeared out of nowhere to save his life.
Apparently, Darth Vader claims 'the Force had sent him'. Dar'jetii osik, that's what Jaster understood. But with Death Watch on the run, and the fate of Mandalore potentially in the hands of a Sith not hellbent on seeing them all bend the knee...he wasn't stupid enough to question his good luck. Now, if only he could get back the Darksaber, figure out where this ancient fossil crawled out of, and keep the Republic from discovering his existence, Jaster might just manage to make do with this. Oh, and Vader was hot under the mask. Kriff it all...

Getting fired was probably the best thing that could ever happen to Claire François. Granted, her new boss happens to be a magic space wizard with a hyperfixation on befriending Ambassador Palpatine, but the pay is worth it. At the very least, Darth Vader certainly makes working in the Senate much more interesting. Appearing as if from thin air and mired in a scandalous lawsuit which the Banking Clans will be paying off for years to come, Mustafar's up-and-coming Galactic Senator seems to have but one goal in mind: drive the Republic's most corrupt politicians entirely insane! But when each day in office leads to exposing backroom deals, and every vacation ends with yet another crisis miraculously averted, Darth Sidious' plans for ruling the Galaxy may have just hit a brand new roadblock...
Or: The Force decides to spit its Chosen One back in time soon after his death. Anakin Vader Skywalker promptly decides to become a politician. This has terrible consequences for the Banite Sith's mental health.

And what does Vader mean by demanding that some of the jury members need to recuse themselves due to bias? You can't possibly know almost every single member personally. That would be... ridiculous.
