Since that fateful day that Hawkmoth first made himself known to the world, everyone suddenly had this mysterious giant tattoo of the number 0 on their backs, the number only changing on their person when they died or "disappeared" during an akuma attack, the number increasing by 1 with every "death" and subsequently being brought back to life, normally via Ladybug's magical cure. So, the more often you've died and have been brought back, the higher the number gets. No one is granted an exception.
One day, Adrien discovers that magic has a funny understanding about the idea of resurrection.
