Summary
“If you’re still partners, what’s the problem? Did he do something to upset you?”
The problem was that even after they'd reconciled and tentatively worked things out, Chat Noir had still been hurt. He'd asked for space, and Ladybug had been so careful to respect his request. After months, she'd hoped they might grow closer again, but there was still a wall between them. She wasn't sure if he'd ever ask to cross it.
But oh, she'd wait forever, if only he would.

Summary
It was cruel the way that fate had played her.
She remembers being 13, standing on the road as a car was hurled right at Ayla, knowing exactly what she had chosen. The feeling of flittering ladybugs echoing through her soul never felt more right. But now, as she watches Rena’s face contort into one of horror and rage, she can’t help but tremble as the familiar feeling of regret claws its way back to her.”You don't get to decide what Adrien should or shouldn't know.”
She feels the weight of the paper in her hands, heavy and burning on her skin.
She feels the cold rings digging into her palm.
She hears his words over and over again until they drown out everything else.“…just the times I tried to be a good father.”
She buries herself into her sheets. Maybe that’ll finally silence it all. She’s now 16, hiding under the weight of it all just the same as it’s always been.
How much of her life was actually her’s? How much of it belonged to everyone else?

Or, Marinette comes face to face with the weight of
choosing to becomebecoming ladybug. -

“I mean, it was all in French, right? So maybe she said all her lines really weirdly and you just couldn’t tell.” Shane began to throw out random French-like gibberish, enunciating all the vowels oddly.
“If we did have French viewers, I’m pretty sure we don’t anymore!” Ryan’s laughter is cut off as the narration resumes.

Summary
But he does feel the sudden pressure in his mind when it sinks into his brooch. The coolness in the air, as if he’s suddenly outdoors. The way everything else becomes muted, distant, out of touch.
His eyes open, arms falling to his side. A dark purple void surrounds him on all sides, everything else ceasing to exist. He can’t see them but he feels them. A presence in the room with him, circling like a shark smelling blood in the water.
“Such a shame, isn’t it? So much ignorance in the world. So much praise for a man who doesn’t deserve it.”
The overlapping voices speak right in his ear. Félix whips around, heartbeat quickening, but nobody is there.
His jaw clenches.
(Or the new Butterfly Holder gets into Félix’s head. He’s going to make them regret it.)
