I grabbed the camcorder out of my jacket pocket, setting it down in front of me and sliding the SD card inside, sighing at the beep when I hit record.

I sat there for so long the whole world faded away, before realizing, oh right, I'm recording. Maybe it wasn't worth it. There was an easy way out of this after all. I took the magnum in my hand. It sure was one way to check if I remembered to load it. I held the gun just under my chin and pulled the trigger. It shocked me with how little will it took to do so. A bone chilling sound echoed in the small room.

I looked around in the stash, grabbed some bullets, and began to slide them into the cylinder. Well, actually, just one. It turns out, the last time I used this gun, I only had to fire once. There was only one empty spot. Resting the gun next to me, I sighed. Whatever luck I had left was wasted right then.
