Summary
Seventeen-year-old Charles has a peaceful life in the quiet sea town of Westshire, mourning the loss of beloved sister many years before and having sworn vengeance on the man who took her from him: the one they called Max. One day Max, now Captain Erik Lehnsherr, comes to Westshire aboard the Magistrate's personal warship, bringing with him a fleet of "gifted" - men and women who possess abilities similar to Charles' own. Captain Lehnsherr aims to recruit men for his mission: securing the Kingdom's peace with the native tribes of Genosha, and present Charles with the perfect opportunity to enact his revenge.
Of course, as is the way of the sea, things are not always as smooth as they appear.

Summary
Nobody said anything at the time. He suspected they were too confused (too frightened) to really know what they saw. No one asked him about it, and really, they all have better things to think about. Everyone on that ship is running away from something, has some reason to be afraid.

Mirror!Steve is one of those villains that you can actually empathize with (up to a point) which is one of my favorite kinds - not just a bad guy for Evil's sake. Love the relationship development between Steve and Tony as well as the plot, which is exciting and sad by turns. Well-rounded and wonderful story.
