Summary
Kara can see a rocky outcropping housing a large cave, a bubbling stream, and a woman sitting with her feet in the water. Her mouth is moving in a perfect match to the uneven song. Her back is facing Kara, and Kara can hardly see any of her features on account of there being two large wings in the way.
Well. The wings are…unexpected.
Strangely though, the fact that this woman has wings is not the thing that pulls at Kara’s attention the most. This close, Kara can better hear the intricacies in her mournful, tuneless melody. The warm, colourful pockets of imperfection in her voice. Kara wants to nestle into them and just listen, on and on until the end of time.
"Beautiful," Kara whispers, the words leaving her without a thought.
The song ends in a discordant screech.

Supergirl stared at her peculiarly, arms crossed. The hairs on the back of Lena’s neck rose, and she wasn’t quite sure why. Supergirl seemed to be studying her, and it was disconcerting.
After a few moments, Supergirl stepped forward. “Why does she like you so much?”
Lena blinked back in surprise. “Who?”
“Kara Danvers.”
For a moment, Lena didn’t know what to say, before shaking her head. “Why don’t you ask her yourself? You’re her friend, not mine.”

With stubborn determination, she sets out on a cross-country journey, with the intention of fixing her broken heart and winning back the woman that she loves in grand gesture in Paris.
Until Lena finds herself stranded at a teahouse in the south of England, her trip to Paris delayed, and unable to bring herself to leave for some reason, finding that her heart doesn't need to be fixed; it just needs to be loved by the right person.

With the new L Corp space station needing to be tested Lena decides to leave her company in Sam’s capable hands so she can spend a year doing it. And more importantly enjoy a year not worrying about people trying to kill her. Two birds, one stone really.
There’s just one small problem with her plan; it means she’s spending the whole year alone, on a space station, with her every move recorded and shared live to the world by a poorly programmed droid.
Watch Lena struggle to maintain her cold Luthor reputation while she yells profanities at a goat, lavishes affection on a cat, goes through what she insists on calling a “grunge” phase, keeps accidentally letting slip how sex starved she is, and desperately tries not to let on how madly in love with her best friend and only visitor she is.

Summary
Kara and Lena used to date in college before Kara got a job and the distance and lack of time broke them up amicably but painfully. Years later, they meet again when Lena is being interviewed by Clark Kent, not knowing that Kara was the intern mentioned as the person joining the meeting to observe Clark interviewing Lena. Kara wasn’t prepared to meet Lena in a super professional setting but what she was even less prepared for was Lena dating someone else. Jack Spheer. Kara hadn’t really tried dating anyone else other than having very brief dates with Mon-El twice before deciding no one could ever compare to Lena and leaving it at that. Until now. Kara’s world falls apart after that meeting because Jack had been there visiting Lena before Clark and Kara came for the interview and it was obvious they were happy together. Superpowers were not always a positive.
