Summary

After pushing his parents over the edge, he's sent to UA; A peculiar rehabilitation center geared towards troubled teens with an array of different problems. Thrown into the eye of the storm, Bakugou finds himself swallowed into a group of quirky friends who push him to not only be himself but the best version of it. With late night angst, a few shoulders to cry on, his first ever teenage crush on a shitty-hair loser, and a shove in the right direction, Bakugou finds that maybe there's a little more to him than setting classmates on fire and anger issues.
Besides, it's hard to stay angry when the literal sun won't stop fucking smiling.

“Katsuki,” his mother said carefully. Her grip was tight but she wasn't shaking. “Katsuki I'm only going to ask you this once. Did you hurt that girl?”
It hurt to be asked, even if Katsuki knew his mother believed his innocence without question. Katsuki told everyone he didn't hurt her. The police said nothing. The girl said nothing. No one said anything, no one believed his confession it felt like. It hurt that no one did. It hurt he had to be asked.
“I didn't,” Katsuki whispered and his mother gave his hand a squeeze and nodded.
“I know.” She told him and pulled him into a tight hug. “I know you didn't.”
No one else seemed to though.

He seemed doubtful, so Ashido shoved Kirishima’s phone in his face. “Do you see this smile? That is the smile of boy who is head-over-heels smitten, am I right?”
Midoriya actually took the time to look at the picture critically, though he shot an uneasy look towards Kirishima before he answered. “Umm, y-yeah,” he said as he started to back away, hiding behind Uraraka like a shield. “It definitely looks like Kacchan is in love.”

"Kirishima Eijirou."
Eijirou nodded, sounding it out a few times. "Sounds good...uh, what about you, man?"
This was strange. He'd never had to introduce himself to Eijirou before. "Bakugou Katsuki."
"Oh nice! What are we, dude?"
Katsuki's mind went blank. What were they? Boyfriends, that was it, yeah, that was right. Though Katsuki wondered if amnesia Eijirou was homophobic, that'd be something. But he was really hesitating. He didn't know why at first until Eijirou lowered the blanket completely and Katsuki stared for a second, at his open curious face and messed up hair and questioning stance. No matter what state he was in, he always looked perfect to Katsuki.
"We're friends."
This was for the best.
"Just friends."
He'd been wanting to let Eijirou go for so long anyway, so what better way than if Eijirou didn't get hurt, at all?
Katsuki doesn't think he deserves Eijirou, and it kills him inside. Then one day Eijirou gets knocked out in an attack, and when he wakes up not knowing who Katsuki is, it's his chance to finally end this without it seeming like a break-up.

After a traumatic coming-of-age summer adventure, once out going Katsuki Bakugou becomes riddled with anxiety and PTSD. He spends much of his childhood running off any friends, feverishly pursuing his goals of becoming the best small plane pilot Japan has ever seen.
His adulthood is met stubbornly chasing his dreams of leaving the ground - and society - by moving to an isolated village far away from trains, people, and -worst of all- his overbearing parents. He certainly doesn't expect to find an idiot running the sorry excuse of a store in the small mountain village. Bakugou sure as shit doesn't expect to fall so hard for the half wit.
