Will decides to cut for the summer. It's structured. Measurable. Productive.
Mack thinks it's discipline.
The problem is that the goal keeps moving.
Or: Will develops an eating disorder over the course of a summer, and Mack doesn't realize how bad it is until it's almost too late.

Summary
Will has a tendency to fall in love with things the way only boys raised on promises of paradise and unbearable guilt can, unknowingly and devastatingly complete.
He sometimes wonders if wanting something can ever be clean, if desire and goodness can ever coexist inside his body. He tells himself that it doesn’t matter anymore, but maybe he’s just learned to lie so convincingly he starts to believe it.
Because the guilt always comes back in the end, it claws at his chest, while the fear settles low in his stomach and panic makes it hard to breathe, and it all just leaves his heart aching like a wound that never heals.
But then there’s Mack, who makes Will want to break every rule he’s ever been taught.

Summary
“Just wanna help you,” Mack whispers. Green eyes shiny, wide, and full of honesty. The sight tugs at his heartstrings.
Will blinks slowly, “I know.”
or: the one where Mack gets Will off because his jerkoff arm is injured and they're forced to deal with the aftermath.
