I just couldn’t get the idea of Steve staying in Hawkins as a watcher in case shit goes down again out of my head. So here we are. Because when you get used to shit coming back again and again and again, what else are you supposed to expect?

Jeremiah’s cheesy picture shines through the screen, and it’s really insane that the notion of him hearing her moan for his brother made her even wetter.

There are many different ways that you can kill the one you love… the slowest way is never loving them enough.

'I prayed for you, but my prayers weren't fucking answered.' She finished, defeated as she melted onto the floor into a puddle.
'I prayed for you, too. I prayed you'd change your mind that entire summer.' Conrad confesses before he can think, and there's a bit of venom in his voice, one that wasn't there before. 'I guess neither of us had our prayers answered. Maybe no one's listening.'"

Conrad’s head turned. “What?”
“No, I don’t mean, we can’t be friends. I mean… What if we weren’t just friends?” She turned her head to look at him too.
“I don’t understand. You said -”
“No, I know what I said. I just mean, what if we could be more than friends, but without hurting anyone”
“...I’m not following”
“If no one knows, then what would the harm be, really? If they don’t know, they can’t be upset by it, or be mad at us, or try to stop us…”
He raised an eyebrow quizzically. “Are you saying, we could be together, just, without telling anyone. Like keep it a secret?”
She let herself think about it for another moment, and then shrugged. “Yeah. Yeah I think I am saying that.”
