Before Shoto Todoroki can enroll at U.A. and begin the path of being a pro hero, he loses his powers. It is a double edged sword. For the first time ever, Todoroki can be his own person without his father controlling his future, but at the same time, he has to grapple with who Shoto Todoroki is without his powers.
Todoroki spends his days working at a bookstore, taking care of his mother, and getting to know his siblings. He has mostly given up on his dream of becoming a hero, until one day, a certain green haired number one hero rescues Todoroki during an accident and has him asking himself what kind of hero can Shoto Todoroki be?

Summary
After an encounter with a villain, Pro Hero Todoroki wakes up in the hospital with almost no memories since his discussion with Midoriya at the sports festival. He would be fine, if he didn't find out he was living with, and married to, the man he just determined to be his rival.
Midoriya wants to help him, but realizing that his husband doesn't remember their friendship is harder than he thinks. But he promises to do everything he can to make Todoroki fall in love with him (again).
