Summary
It’s not that Viktor sneezes, it’s how he does it. And Jayce, to his huge surprise, must admit it’s unexpectedly endearing. So he stares.
“Sorry,” Viktor reaches out for a tissue. “It’s the dust. From the thingy.”
His words bring Jayce back. He blinks and shakes his head, mumbling a quick bless you to which Viktor mumbles a quick thank you, force of habit speaking for them both. It’s all about good manners and expected response.
What is not expected, though, is that Jayce can’t focus on his notes for the rest of the evening. -
