Summary

Midoriya Izuku runs into Kurogiri instead of All Might after his second encounter with the slime villain. Interestingly enough, while this does change a lot for him and takes him down the path of the villain under All for One's thumb, it also changes a lot for the version of him who does meet All Might.
One quirkless villain Midoriya and one OFA hero Midoriya pursue their own methods of helping people who seem like they need saving.

Summary
When Noé moved, scooting closer to the traincar window to watch the passing sights, the hair that usually covered his forehead shifted, and Vanitas thought the skin underneath looked darker than he remembered. It was difficult to recall, though, and even more difficult to be sure that it was different since Noé’s skin was already naturally dark.
Before Vanitas could even think to say anything about Noé’s exhaustion or what could have been—could it have been?—surely it wasn’t—bruising on his forehead, Noé himself spoke.
“S— Sleepy…!”
He could hardly keep his eyes open.

Alone wasn’t any good. When Noé was alone, he hurt—especially after he had done something wrong. Especially after he had said something contrary when he should have said something that would appease.
This was why he needed to have someone sleep with him, why he didn’t like to spend nights alone.

Favorites - ORV
With every chapter I read, I had to alternate holding back real laughter or overwhelming admiration. The characterization never felt OOC, and the humor was right on track with SingNSong’s style (the ‘Kim Dokja is Not a Car’ fable killed me each time you brought it back).
This story felt like it was made by someone putting in the time and love and work to do the research and appreciate the characters and— the care in it feels like ‘reverence,’ an appreciation for a story that has meant so much to many people, but especially to one reader. That’s exactly the way ORV makes me feel, too. I’ve seen ORV described as a love letter to the reader, and this fanfic read to me like the second part to that love letter, or a love letter responding to ORV. -

I love the self-doubt, the surreal feeling, the dissociation that Kim Dokja would have to feel post-epilogue. Sometimes fics with those elements pick the reader up, let them feel the fear and instability, and just leave them to float or be tossed at the end (which is of course sometimes the feeling the reader wants). This one was so gentle— I felt like my feet were placed back on solid ground with how soft that ending was. -

Summary
This year, UA is experimenting with a new Young Villain and Criminal Reformation Program. There’s just one problem: Midoriya has been accepted to Class 1-A as a villain, and he has absolutely no idea why.
