She’s waiting for him when he steps off the elevator. Pacing by the piano, one hand tapping on the glossy lid.
She surges toward him the the second he crosses the threshold, heels snapping on black stone.
“What the hell is wrong with you?”
He pauses briefly. She follows him when he sidesteps her and stalks to the bar.
He sheds his jacket. Undoes his cufflinks, and pushes his sleeves past his wrists. Pours himself a drink.
He takes a sip and lets it melt on his tongue before he speaks, voice barely more than a whisper.
“I could ask you the same thing, Detective.”

Desperate to cement his "super bad boyfriend" status, Lucifer drags Eve as his date to the 54th annual LAPD gala.

So, when God orders his sons to resurrect Chloe, Lucifer starts to feel protective about Chloe's transition back to Earth. They manage the resurrection, but now that Chloe's back on Earth, she feels disconnected. Disconnected from her family and her job. The one person who seems to understand is Lucifer, so she confides in him, takes comfort in him. Lucifer simply thought he was giving Chloe the chance to relive her life, but now, he's finding he's much more invested in how she chooses to live that life and if he might be a part of it.

Still, she seemed more reserved than normal today, and would occasionally look at the direction of the new Lieutenant walking around the precinct. It was weird, the feeling that erupted in him when he noticed her doing that.
Seven days, seven sins. This is how Lucifer experiences them around the Detective. And it all starts with a huge misunderstanding.

Colors hadn’t burst all of a sudden. His world hadn’t been shaken to its core. The colors had come slowly, as little things in his day. They had had their time to develop as that bubbly little thing grew inside him.
In hindsight, Lucifer should’ve known it wouldn’t have happened like that for him. Nothing in his life ever happened as it was supposed to…
