Summary
Re·ver·ie (noun)
A state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts or dreams;
or a tranquil escape that becomes a dangerous dissociation.Dennis has always known exactly who he is in the ED: capable, warm, and certain of his place within the noise. The department is rhythm and purpose and something close to home.
But when a patient’s attention lingers too long, Dennis discovers that the mind has ways of surviving what the body cannot endure. What returns to the hospital isn’t the same bright resident who left, and the place that once felt steady no longer fits the same way.

Summary
'Unbeknownst to Robby, however, he would not be leaving, and it was entirely due to that conversation. Because of that conversation, he was going to lose one of his doctors today.
He did not know this yet.
Nobody knew this yet.
They wouldn’t know until twenty minutes later, when Whitaker went to do that neuro check on the man in South 14.
AKA: What if instead of Emma who gets assaulted in Episode 11, it’s Whitaker, and then things go from bad to fucking catastrophic very, very quickly, because turns out Whitaker’s a very, very good liar, with a very, very large and very, very dangerous secret?
What if Robby’s guilt is strong enough to stop his doomed-ass sabbatical, due to the overwhelming responsibility he feels to 'atone for what he's done'?
What if Whitaker has a chronic condition and some really shitty history he never discussed with anyone, and Robby can't stop being a doctor, no matter how much he keeps trying?

Summary
A dangerous game is afoot—one not of swords or pistols, but of wit, daring, and the thrill of recognition. Two brilliant minds collide, curious and unyielding, their admiration and rivalry twisting into something dangerous, entirely consuming. Every glance, every word, every gesture is a battle, yet neither can resist the pull of the other. In the art of war—and of love—cunning becomes seduction, and desire a weapon no one is safe from.
OR
A Young Sherlock rewrite where Sherlock and James’ early rivalry sparks a dangerous, intoxicating attraction that changes the rules of their game.

Summary
He only saw Charles after the wedding from his door. Charles’s room is right across from Lando’s. It’s for Carlos’s convenience. Dividing your time and space between two omegas can be a hassle, you know. From the wide open door as Carlos left, he saw Charles watch Carlos go, his legs hanging from the bed’s edge. He just caught a glimpse, but the fresh bite, in all its glory: dried blood and aggressive swelling, was noticeable from a distance. Charles winced as he smiled at Carlos; he looked like he was in pain. But all he remembers thinking is: God, they were right. He’s devastatingly beautiful.
