Summary
Martin feels so nervous that he’s almost dizzy with it. He desperately wants to turn tail and run, to call this whole thing off. Except for how he knows he’d be mad at himself for weeks afterwards for doing it, maybe even months. He’s spent so long working himself up to this; is he seriously not even going to try?
Even though it’ll probably go terribly? a pessimistic voice in the back of his head chimes in.
“This is going to go great,” Martin mutters underneath his breath. “Just grand. Nothing’ll go wrong, you’ll see.”
He feels a flash of self consciousness, but none of the other passengers give him so much as a glance for muttering to himself, all of them either hiding away in headphones and earbuds or just dead eyed glazed over expressions as they stare blankly into the middle distance. None of them even suspect that he’s on his way to a kink club.

Summary
Finally he came upon a rather slim file that seemed quite promising. Carefully he pulled it out of the box and flipped it open. Promptly something slipped out and fell to the ground. Jon scolded himself internally - he really could have waited with opening the file until he was back at his desk - and bent to pick the object or paper up. It was the former, a bracelet to be exact. Quite delicate, with a small pendant in form of a sharp-winged heart. Looking back at the file he saw an envelope, which was upside down and open. Apparently the bracelet had been in there, but not sealed up properly. It was a bit tacky - at least for Jon's taste - and strangely felt warm to the touch. With furrowed brows he put the jewelry back into the envelope and went back to his desk.
