For the last several years, Kaeya has had his thumb on the pulse of Mondstadt, and the lifeblood of everything that passes through it. It's easy to miss his own pulse when the beat of his heart is drowned out by the sound of everything else.

Summary
Sometimes, keeping the loneliness at bay is a hard thing to do. The physical connections Kaeya makes with people might satisfy him in the moment, might give him the heat and distraction he needs, but it makes everything so, so much worse when reality hits him again and the loss of warmth reminds him just how cold and lonely he is, in a world of people who won't - or can't - ever love him. And even as it hurts him, over and over again... he can't help but seek it out again, no matter how many times he regrets it.
Lucky for him, though... there's someone out there who understands what isolation can do to someone, what it means to be different and to feel like no one gets him. And that someone is a whole lot closer to him than he might have thought.

Here Tartaglia stood having followed a scent to the entrance into Liyue Harbour. Standing before him was the most beautiful man he’d have the pleasure to meet. Smelling like a crisp winter morning, where the sun made the snow sparkle and the cold had yet to fully seep into your skin. He smelt of calla lilies, of sweet wine.
[For just one moment, just your scent alone, my heart was seized. You smelt of home; of a future I had not dreamed of. Of everything and more.]

Summary
“Let’s end beautifully tragic, then,” Kaeya said one night, Abyssal eye meeting Childe’s blue ones. “Let us live recklessly as Icarus and laugh in spite of the gods as we fall gracelessly. Let them gaze in wonder at the hubris of men who thought themselves eternal.”
Childe pressed a kiss against the other’s temple, softly knocking their foreheads together as he ran his fingers through midnight blue hair.“You became doomed the moment you loved a man named after a tragedy.” He said, giving a breathless laugh.
“So doom me.” Kaeya whispered.

Summary
Most of these will be written as stand alone stories. Some will have references to other stories in the series or may even be direct sequels (which will be noted in summery)
a collection of stories revolving mostly around Kaeya. Diluc will be another prominent character as well but wont be in every story. they will be ordered chronologically but will not be written as such. Most of them do not need to be read in order and I'm open to requests as long as they follow my idea for the series.
It's mostly angst but will have some humor and fluff (or an attempt at it anyways)

Summary
Just because an injury has healed doesn't necessarily mean an end to pain. Sometimes recovery isn't returning to how you were, but rather learning to cope with how you are now.
Kaeya learned this the hard way five years ago. Now all he has to show for his brotherhood is a body full of scars; and pain that just won't seem to go away.
Still that was years ago, and Kaeya has learned to live with his new limitations. Most days are alright.
Then there are the Bad Days.
And unfortunately for Kaeya, today just so happened to be a Bad Day.

Summary
A freak blizzard at dragonspine’s peak ensures the first white Christmas in a long while for the people of Mondstadt. The snow brings forth bright yet unwelcome memories for Diluc, who can’t remember a pleasant Christmas since before that night.
Kaeya just wants to spend the holidays with Albedo and Klee, the rest of the knights invited of course, to their annual Christmas eve gathering. The snow this year, however, is making it increasingly hard to banish memories of Christmases past.
(Or Christmas exists in Mond but Kaeya and Diluc are still stupid stubborn siblings that can’t communicate).

Summary
Kaeya frequently gets nightmares.
It's something Albedo slowly noticed. He's a light sleeper, and often he'd hear light whimpers and moans from the other man while he slept.
They seemed to have been getting worse recently too.
Something else Albedo realises, is that physical affection seems to calm the other man down.
