He’d been very careful to check over the ship’s manifest and accompanying crew roster multiple times, especially when higher ups made changes or added people in. He may have been retired, but he still had enough connections who knew how to keep their heads down to do some background checks of his own; even on the people with black ink all over their records.
So when a new name popped up on the list, with no pre-requisite corporate jargon filled email to inform him of the addition, and no one could pull up any files on him; he had, what one might call, a bad feeling.

When Skywarp had handed him the datapad he'd been half tempted to throw it back at his Trinemate, he had better things to be doing, like contemplating how best to relieve Megatron of his head, or, at the very least, convince him to do something more interesting with it. But Skywarp had an odd, carefully controlled blank look on his face, and he was quiet...none of those things spelled anything good.
His spark tightened in his chassis as he flicked the datapad on, wondering what awful thing he was going to have to deal with now...
He read it. He re-read. And a gaping hole opened up in his chest. Millions of years of carefully concealed pain filling him...immediately followed by white hot rage.

Summary
Somewhere in the vast, unknowable cosmos, a tiny orange mech sits in a comfortable chair and ponders over all the idiots who deserve to be happy, or, happier, than they currently allow themselves to be.

A series of fics that all take place in an alternate G1 universe, the aligning theme being a humorous and lighthearted chain of unusual events that either expose existing relationships or form new ones. Each individual fic will focus on a separate relationship, if I feel like it I might return to one and add extra chapters. Each relationship that comes to light is typically the jumping off point for another, it may not always be obvious who is coming up next (because sometimes I don't know till it hits me). I would like to try and write these in a way, however, so that they can be read as stand-alone fics; that way no one feels like they have to read other parts of the series if it's a ship they don't enjoy. This, like all my fanfiction, is a casual project, i'll work on it when I can or when I want to, but it takes the backseat.

Summary
Transformers: Titanium is an alternate universe I started creating about a year ago, and the stories told within it take place mostly post war and are almost solely told from Starscream's perspective as he tries to heal, piece his life back together, and mend his broken bonds.
This story/universe was originally part of a trilogy of story concepts that I referred to as 'Old Ghosts', and they each centered around post war life for a single mech, how it changed them, and who from their past showed up to haunt them...in the best way. TF: Titanium as stated, follows Starscream, however there was also TF: Gold, which followed Optimus through an entirely different post war setting, and TF: Platinum, which followed Megatron through a third unique setting. Each universe was designed without drawing direct inspiration from any one canon 'verse, and so you will find references, characters, and concepts from all across the board.
(On a side note, I may wish to eventually write a proper 'Megatron Origins' fic for TF: T, which obviously won't be told from Starscream's perspective. But it would be enjoyable, and beneficial I think, for better understanding his position in all this and his behavior.)
