“Oh, Rosie, you know he only acts that way because you give him a reaction every time. I swear on Salazar, he’s not like that with anyone else.”
“Well, why should it fall onto me to be the bigger man?”
Al took hold of her shoulders, shaking her slightly. “It shouldn’t. It’s up to the both of you,” he said softly.
“Will you talk to him too?”
Al nodded. “I will.”
“And you’ll tell him to stop being a disgusting, slimy wanker?”
“Maybe not in those exact words, but sure!”
“But you admit he’s a narcissistic stuck-up git with way too much confidence?”
“He could do well to be taken down a peg sometimes, yeah, I can agree with that,” Al nodded again.A story in which Rose and Scorpius doesn't exactly behave during a trip to the Burrow which makes seventh year a whole lot more confusing and difficult than it could have been. (And that's not factoring in handsome foreign exchange students and new responsibilities at Hogwarts)
