Summary
Jehan's not sure if he can express more than 180 years of sexual tension in a single poem, but he'll sure as hell try. Well, okay, so most of that was spent in heaven or something, but the point stands.
Those two would want to kiss and exchange rings in front of that very window. Jehan had been shot long before he could witness the famous scene, but still, he wouldn't have it any other way. He'll declaim their wedding gift with tremendous feeling, early in the ceremony, and have the whole audience weepy-eyed long before any actual vows roll around.

In which Wen Ning and Wei Ying fall into their grandparents' favorite TV Show, the Untamed, which was based on a gay romance novel, and everyone seems to think they're characters that were already in it. Except when he watched the show, he was pretty sure Lan Zhan didn't look at the real Wei Wuxian like he's looking at Wei Ying, and he and Wen Ning are having to use a lot of memes in order to communicate without the people around them understanding.
AKA Modern Wen Ning and Wei Ying transmigrate to the Untamed.

Summary
After a few months of traveling, something strange starts to happen to Wei Wuxian; his old scars reappear on his new body. This would be...totally fine and acceptable, if it didn't also entail all the pain, and the wounds, and the memories. Reluctantly, he returns to the cultivation world for help. Well. To Lan Zhan. He returns to Lan Zhan.
Post-canon shenanigans in which WWX is traveling alone with LWJ as chief cultivator as in CQL, but he has Mo Xuanyu's body as in the book. We mix and match canon as we see fit here. Lots of angst, lots of nostalgia. We're getting the whole band back together and giving WWX some loving. I promise there's a happy ending here.
