“I don’t know how people can do that.” Jayce hadn’t meant to say it out loud, but now he had to answer Victor's curious, raised eyebrow. Clearing his throat, he clarified, “Sell themselves.”
Following his line of sight, Viktor noticed the brothel and laughed. “It is work, Jayce. Just like anything else.”
“I guess. But isn’t it kind of… violating?”
“Eh, not particularly.” Viktor shrugged. “No more than any other physical labor.”
A nervous laugh bubbled out of Jayce. “You sound like you’re talking from experience.”
Viktor halted, and Jayce had to curve his body to avoid crashing into him. Turning, Viktor gave him a long, indecipherable look and said, ”Perhaps I am. Would that matter to you?”

Summary
No one but Viktor communicated so thoroughly with just his face. Regardless of what came out of his mouth—or what he refrained from saying—his face always said exactly what he really felt. For this reason, Jayce could not help but wonder how Viktor never got his ass kicked in the Undercity. He even asked him just to make sure.
The story of Jayce documenting his spontaneous scientific interest in Viktor (crush) until it gloriously evolves into a verbal confession of his feelings.

After a secretive trip to the Undercity goes terribly wrong, Viktor is left trying to piece himself together and drag himself back home. And it was nothing new. Nothing so terribly unusual.
But why does home look and sound so much like the lab...?
I.e., Instead of locating Singed, Viktor is attacked during his initial trip to the Undercity. Confused, exhausted, and in pain, he accidentally goes back to the lab instead of his own room, where his partner just so happens to be pulling an all-nighter...

There is a thing, and it is moving. He imagines he sees the back of its head, brown and life-bleached. A slash of blue rags swaddling a creature of stumbles and stubbed toes, faun-fresh footsteps over terrain that feels five miles below.
There are cords. They are ashen greyandpurple, kintsugi spun between the threads. Too soft to be metal, too hard to be flesh.
Viktor is not here.

Summary
Something goes wrong. The crown is split during Narinder's defeat, splitting the power between him and the Lamb.
Narinder keeps a portion of his godhood, and the Lamb finds that abilities they had access to before are no longer possible: Healing is cut short. Powers are halved. And there is a very real chance of perma-death, as the ability to resurrect is not possible without full power, and the God of Death is not cooperative.
Afterlife and Purgatory are not options either. Dying means erasure. Gone.Lambert knows Narinder grows stronger by the day, crown or not, and yet keeps him spared as they try to figure out how to complete their own goals. Narinder vows vengeance on the lamb for usurping him. After a few unsuccessful murder attempts, he's in for the long haul. It is only a matter of time before the Lamb's guard is down before he can strike, and The One Who Waits is very patient. When a mystic being demands they save the bishops from purgatory, an alliance is in order.
Except...the lamb's actions and their presence begin to unlock abilities within the God of Death he didn't know he had prior to his imprisonment, among other fickle things, like emotions. The prophecy didn't warn him of that part.

Summary
Crowley discovers that something is different about the bookshop when he visits and Aziraphale isn't forthcoming. In fact, he seems a bit nervous about it. Growing suspicious, not to mention worried, that it might be nesting behaviour, something angels only engage in when they're head over heels and want to risk mating, Crowley investigates.
When the evidence becomes irrefutable, he's heartbroken. It isn't for him. Of course Aziraphale isn't nesting for him.
But who could it be? What angel could possibly have captured Aziraphale's attention and his love? Crowley needs to find out because if he has to give him up, they had better damn well be worthy of his angel's affections!He isn't going to give him up.

“Then why don’t you attack?” A smile curls across their face, and their head cocks calmly, curiously. “You could win if you struck now. You know his weaknesses in a way that few others do.”
Taako can’t even stomach the thought. The indifference in Kravitz’s eyes tears at him, like he’s not attacking Taako, like the shared gold on their fingers means nothing, but Taako tamps down the sharp hurt that wells in him. It’ll be fine. “It’d be a waste to deprive the world of such a hot bod,” he snaps, and tears a wall of stone up from the ground.

After the suspension of Dib's membership to Swollen Eyeball's organization, Zim offers a trip to an unknown planet filled with adventure, space anomalies and a reprieve from Earth's stressors as a graduation gift and an escape. Dib accepts in a heartbeat.
Unfortunately, both of them are dumb danger magnets, and Dib goes through dealing with fairies, drunken bar fights, space pirates, way too emotional talks and more as he gets sense that Zim has been keeping something from him for a very, very long time. Oh, and the Irken Empire is out for blood. So there's that.
