Jaskier has just come across the most interesting Alpha.
He smells him first; it’s easy to notice the difference, the tavern so far being comprised only of scentless Betas, with the exception of himself as the sole Omega. Then the door of the establishment opens and, alongside a hot gust of late-spring air, comes the indistinguishable musk that characterises most Alpha scents. This one is combined with fresh sweat, horse and a faint iron trace of blood.
There is something about him, something that calls to Jaskier. And it isn’t necessarily his scent, heady and delicious as it is, or even his striking features, his shock-white hair and amber eyes, though those are certainly not a deterrent. It’s something more, and Jaskier doesn’t know what exactly it is, but he’s going to do his very best to find out.

“Jaskier,” Geralt growled teasingly as he pulled back. “I do hope you’ll do more than just stare at my ass today.”
Jaskier lightly shoved at Geralt’s chest. “Oy! I’m the one doing the romancing today, if there’s any sweeping off of feet going to be happening, I’ll be the one to do it!”
AKA: The next big work in the series, where dirty talk in the orchard leads to Jaskier being pregnant again.

Summary
If Jaskier keeps trying to make up a sonnet in his head about how well Geralt fucks, nobody needs to know. Least of all Geralt, though sometimes he’s daydreaming and Geralt nudges him, expression suspicious as though he knows.
Witchers aren’t mind-readers, Jaskier is fairly sure. It still makes him a little nervous.

What?”
“Yennefer portalled them to the grand library of Novigrad a couple hours ago.” Vesemir said, “With, I had assumed, you.”
So Geralt's abandoned him on top of a mountain. Again. At least the company has improved this time around.
