Summary
Misaki's always struggled in Hello, Happy World! - to stay sane, safe, and hydrated in the face of the dummies' wild schemes. But she had fun. Spending every day with Hagumi, Kaoru, Kokoro, and Kanon... she was happy.
In a fleeting instant, it was all taken away. Every cherished song, smile, and memory - gone.
But she'll find them again.
For the sake of their happiness, and her own... she'd go beyond the moon and back.

4/8/24 - This thing hit me like a 420k word truck to the face, but in a good way. Misaki's journey of self-discovery and her quest to reunite the HHW members while dealing with her feelings for Kanon is expertly done, balancing her stupid teenage awkwardness with her drive to achieve her goals and get her pink furry suit back.
When I finished reading this, I was in a weird state of semiconsciousness for the week afterwards because I was trying to process what the fuck Misaki just went through. Seriously, I cried multiple times and definitely cackled out loud at many parts, something that I've only done with a few books. I had to just think about the plot and randomly giggle to myself during that post-fic week so I could process the sheer amount of work and effort put in this behemoth.
I'm fairly certain that this is the longest thing I'll willingly read in a long while. (An achievement for sure!)
I have a faint memory of ignoring my family during our vacation so I could finish this. -

Summary
Alix has known for a lifetime that everyone is supposed to find their other half someday. One day, someday, everyone finds a soulmark etching itself into their skin, into their soul, matching them to their other half and making them whole.
Alix breathes a sigh of relief for every day she stays unmarked.
Alix has some real strong objections to this entire 'halves and wholes' attitude.
Turns out, she’s not the only one who does.

4/7/24 - Goddamn, this fic single-handedly changed my thoughts on the soulmate trope, really made me think about it with a lot more nuance.
This is definitely a fic I'll be thinking about for a long while.
Very interesting perspective, having a time travel-based protagonist with skewed perceptions of time along with semi omniscient knowledge.
I enjoyed the found family vibes that were scattered throughout, as I've always thought that the collective trauma of the class would bring them together in a way that might have never otherwise happened. To be fair, I really think that all of Paris would've banded together from all the akuma related trauma. It's certainly more realistic than the betrayal shit that happens later in the seasons. -

Summary
Goro Akechi is no longer alone. He's inadvertently burrowed into Ann's life like a parasite, quietly staining the apartment with his presence- or so he thinks. The passing months have given them both time for reflection, and even as two world-shattering calamities are slowly left behind by the tide, old anxieties still burn.
A lingering ache, a chance discovery, and an awakening come together to create someone new.

2/23/24 - I've never really liked Akechi as a character, even with how varied his characterization is across so many fanworks and AUs. He usually either comes off as an overly evil conniving bastard or a debatably scruffy cat that's been tamed by Akira's love and neither of those are particularly interesting to me. In fact, I think this is the first time I've truly vibed with his character, though I could've guessed that I would like this work based solely on the fact that I prefer non-male characters. Amusingly enough, the main point of Akechi trans-ing gender has done its job in endearing me to the characterization here.
2/10/26 - Shiho, still making terrible first impressions out of the goodness of her heart. Damn near gave Goro a heart attack by opening with "I know you!" -

Summary
Minori stepped forward, then turned and looked back behind her one last time, gazing at the city walls. For her entire life, she had never left those walls, but now, she’d be gone for an indeterminate amount of time, with no way of knowing when or even if she would return.
No! I’ll be successful. More and more!
She ripped her gaze away from the city and proceeded into the forest, along the dirt path that would soon end, and into the unmarked unknown.
Minori Hanasato is a mage, sent away from the city on a quest to become a full-fledged magician. Along the way, she meets three new people that might just change how she views magic, and her world as a whole. A tale of magic and romance, and of two sisters, and of four magic users (and many others).
Based loosely on the Cast a Spell on You! trained set and Airi’s Exciting Picnic! trained card.

5/13/23 - This work was a delight to read, and I really liked the world building throughout the story. The pacing was also excellent, spread out just well enough between periods of fluff and character building to make the story not feel rushed or too slow.
The plot itself was full of interesting twists and callbacks to little details or flashbacks mentioned in past chapters, so it was a fun journey piecing together the full backstory of the world and trying to guess the next plot point while waiting for updates. -

11/28/25 - Man, I still want to know what was up with Shizuku and Mafuyu being in Empty SEKAI when Tsukasa was having his amnesia episode.
4/21/26 - This was a journey to embark on together. I hope the author knows this was a beautiful work of art, and I applaud your successful engage ment in multiple artistic mediums.
