Her hand reached out, the warmth of her father’s hand still lingering there as she traced the constellations. Ursa Major. Ursa Minor. The North Star, Polaris. Orion. Cancer, her father’s Zodiac sign. Gemini, her Zodiac sign. And Leo, her mother’s.
Her finger landed on the seven sisters eventually, the memory of that story filling her mind. Her dad always loved that story, having loved astronomy since he was a child. Before he… he’d come out here with her. Even when he was sick.
