Summary
Sonic and Shadow are settled into their married lifestyles and have decided to try and start a family. Both hedgehog's will have to face parts of their pasts, as neither truly had parents of their own growing up, but aren't alone as they discover the ups and downs of parenthood. It really takes a village to raise a child.

Summary
It was obvious that Sonic and Shadow had feelings for each other. Shadow never bothered to hide it because, well, why should he? If people have a problem with it, they can deal with him face-to-face. But, Sonic... He's always had his reservations about certain things. Being the world's favorite hero meant you landed in the spotlight more often than you wanted to, and some things were just meant to be private. They never really bothered to address the differences in their expectations of each other until years later when Shadow meets someone at work. With the years of Sonic's ambivalence weighing on him... He finally decides to stop waiting on Sonic's indecisiveness and calls... whatever they had... quits.
Denial is a river... And Sonic finds himself drowning in it.

Summary
Even after years of fighting and coming to terms with their rivalry, Sonic and Shadow still have issues seeing eye-to-eye about certain things. However, after seeking advice from Shadow, Sonic is no longer ashamed of his identity as an omega. His respect for Shadow grows after the hybrid opens up about his own experiences, and in a sporadic whim of boldness, asks the alpha to start a no-strings-attached arrangement to benefit them both. Well... as per usual... things never go as planned and the two find themselves having much more in common than they originally thought.
Author's note: I've read a lot of fics where Sonic's whole thing is trying to hide the fact he's an omega - Love these fics - I just wanted to turn that idea upside down on it's head. So, instead, he's become proud of his identity and starts trying to explore and learn more about himself and how it's okay to be vulnerable. Same goes for Shadow.

Summary
Shadow The Hedgehog has to face the fact that sometimes he has to rest in order to maintain his health. He can't keep pushing without there being some recoil that occurs. He learns that he can't pour from an empty glass, and his partner Sonic, along with his friends, help Shadow to see that it's okay to ask for help if he needs it.
Note: This will be part of a collection where Shadow deals with different situations and accepts that he won't always be at his 100% best.

Summary

Summary
At this point in his life, Silver was well adjusted to the ever-changing ways of the future. He full-heartedly believed in the butterfly effect after his experience with Mephiles, so with his constant meddling in past affairs, he expected there to always be something different when he returned to his timeline.
His own memories would alter with each shift of the future, but with careful journaling and open communication with Blaze, he learned to navigate the confusing order of events and understand what was relevant and irrelevant to his life.
But, interestingly enough, no matter what occurred, whether it be past or present, he could never remember his childhood. It was a blank chapter in his life he desperately wanted to fill. No one around him had any answers to help either.
His whole past was a complete mystery.

There's old boundaries to discuss, new emotions to explore, and the constant threat of enemies exploiting their weakness for one another if word gets out. It's a challenge neither Sonic or Shadow ever expected to deal with. Yet, neither would change it for the world.

Sonic has found himself indebted to the Kingdom of Sol. After stealing from the royal treasury, he has been tasked to do the Queen's dirty work until it is seen fit for his release. Thanks to raids occurring in the waters near Sol, he is tasked to capture the Captain of the offending pirate ship that seems set on destroying royal merchant and naval ships. With his long history of escape attempts, Sonic is assigned a guard by the name of Silver to help him in his investigation.
Why is this pirate only attacking Sol property? Why has the Queen's own navy failed to capture him? Can this be Sonic's shot to finally get out of the Crown's grasp? Only one way for the street rat to find out.

Just before the final sliver of light can disappear, a flash occurs from behind. He shields his eyes as golden hues fill the entirety of the room.
“Just in time. Where do you think you’re going, Shadow?”
The voice was soft, melodic even. It grates on his nerves.
“Traitor…” The demon hisses, slowly turning as the light dims to a soft glow.
On the altar sat a familiar blue-furred figure. His body was draped in white silk and adorned with golden bands on his forearms and neck. It was still hard to fully look at him due to the natural radiance that emanated from him, but Shadow needed no refresher. His face would forever be ingrained in his mind after what he did.
“You’re never going to let that go, are you?”
