Shen Yuan might have dodged a bullet by not transmigrating as Shen "scummiest villain that should be castrated" Qingqiu, but to be transmigrated into a sword is definitely not something that he want either.
But hey, at least he wouldn't have the protagonist himself to have a vendetta against him, so you know what? Shen Yuan really can't complain. He can just sit at the Wan Jian Peak for eternity for all he cares.
At least he can spend the rest of his life in peace right?

Summary
Shen Yuan transmigrates during the previous generation of Cang Qiong, and despite being totally mediocre (or so he thinks) he ends up becoming the Head Disciple of Qing Jing Peak. Shen Yuan decides to try and live his life to the best of his ability, avoid the scum villain when he makes his inevitable appearance, and grow stronger so he can stay alive long enough to be able to see his favourite protagonist in the flesh - and then escape so he's not killed when Luo Binghe takes over the world.
But, of course, the plot has got to plot, and nothing ever goes according to plan.
