The smell of smoke on his face was vivid as he replayed the memory. “You’re just too delicate,” his father would say. “You’ll learn.”
Ren did not want to turn into his father.
If he wouldn’t be his father, what could he be then?

The vampire raised an eyebrow at it.
“I'll turn you when you get a little older, how ‘bout that?” Joel grinned, all sharp teeth and bravado.
“You promise you'll turn me into one of you guys?”
Joel is gentle as he says. “Promise.”
It's a promise he doesn't keep because Jimmy is turned into a werewolf before it can happen. He now has to face the fact he won't get to live forever with the people he loves most as well as the annoying new instincts that come along being part wolf.

Summary
The sons and daughters of fairy tales characters had a duty to answer. They had to repeat their parents’ stories over and over to maintain the order of the world they lived in.
Ever After was the place promises were made and destiny strangled you like a cord. There was no escape from it. Between classes focused on teaching you what needed be for you to fulfill your role and the stigma that surrounded expecting the worst of each other based exclusively on their destiny.
This year, Ren had to sign The Storybooks of Legends. Ren did not want to, and he was far from the only one.

Her and Sausage had a thing. It ran a little deeper than plain friends with benefits, but it lacked the compromise of a strict romantic relationship. They had sex. Sometimes even emotions while they were at it. And maybe it led to Sausage noticing Pearl holding back. And maybe it led to Sausage wanting to make her scream.

To quote one Mumbo Jumbo, it was quite simple the way it happened. Scar sent a picture on accident, but then it wasn’t quite as accidental when he realized how flustered Grian got.
However, on the other side of the screen Grian hadn’t realized the real reason behind why Scar was sending the pictures or why they made him feel the way he did.
Grian blinked. “I have no idea what you’re talking about, Scar.”
“I was not sending shirtless pictures platonically, G.”
“Oh.”
This is the story in which Scar keeps sending increasingly more suggestive pictures to a Grian that is absolutely incapable of figuring out the meaning behind Scar’s flirting method of choice.
Or, five times Scar sent pictures of himself to flirt with Grian and the one time Grian got him back. Somewhere in there they get together.

Summary
There was a characteristic feeling associated with falling. Wind, fear, hope. It was a taste that never left his mouth. He knew what it was to fall, he knew what it was to die.
But.
Did he really know what it was to live death itself? Mourn anything other than himself?
Jimmy Solidarity will become intimately familiar with what it feels to die over and over again and without escape in the midst of what it seems to be divine punishment where his goal is to win, to become the last man standing in a never-ending game they have decided to call Limited Life.
At first, he thought he was alone, but he is not the only one who remembers too much, he’s not the only one listening to their chant like chiming bells that cannot bear to leave their cursed one alone.
The first time he wasn’t the first to die should also be the time he wins, they had said.
Jimmy had the chance to try time and time again.
Or: Jimmy is trapped in a time loop, he is trapped in Limited Life. The only way he might be able to escape is by winning the game. As time passes, he sees he’s not the only one in need of saving.
