“What do you say? Will you let me out of the doghouse?” Jayce found himself asking, because that’s what all of this was really for, right? This terrible trial had to end with him and Viktor being close once more. It just had to.
Viktor eyed him, almost appraisingly.
“I don’t know. You make a rather convincing whelp.”
Jayce laughed nervously, “I don’t love the way you looked when you said that.”
“You don’t have to.” Viktor said evenly.

Summary
Viktor felt, for a second, somewhat sated. This was not the life he had dreamed of, but only because he had, on some level, not really expected to have a life to dream about. He had a comfortable job, a kind employer, he had more time than he ever really expected to read, to study, to learn. He had, of course, a yearning for something more, but while their travels interrupted his personal experiments, they also funded them. He could imagine a better world for himself, and simultaneously accept the hand he had been dealt, as much as he disliked it.
None of this was new—they were the facts of his life.
But after that feeling of being sated came another. Something deep, twisted, terrifying, awful. There was no evidence to support it, only a sensation across his fingers, down the back of his neck, clutching at his chest.
Something—and he was not sure what—was about to change, it said.

When his employer is hired to tutor a young woman, Viktor hardly expects to meet anyone interesting in the process. Instead, however, he meets Jayce Talis: wealthy, handsome, a scientific genius—

Summary
Viktor looks up, blinking slowly at Jayce, one shoulder heavy with the weight of Jayce's hand. It's weird, these moments of casual intimacy, the feeling of lingering warmth, the honesty of it. Viktor can't fix a wall for Jayce, the man lives in a infuriatingly functional apartment, but he can fix some equations of his later, even though that won't be enough. Because Viktor keeps a tap and it's not yet even. It'll probably never be even. Not with Jayce's generous offer, not with the gift of his knowledge, not with the way he keeps tending to their partnership like it's a treasured keepsake.

Summary
Pre season 1 AU. It happens by chance. Self-destructive student extraordinaire Jayce Talis meets the underpaid Dean's assistant, Viktor - and he's immediately captivated. Jayce finds his eyes hypnotizing; his voice, irresistible. He quickly becomes fascinated with the man and his gentle working hands.
They are both in dire need of an outlet for stress. Viktor has something of a reputation among the student body as a merciless sadistic fiend; but thankfully, Jayce seems to find relief in pain.
Not everything proceeds as imagined. Hextech may or may not survive in one piece.
