Summary
Sometimes Spider-Man has to do the hard thing, even if it breaks Peter Parker’s heart.
After Stephen Strange erases the ties between the identity of Spiderman and Peter Parker in 2024, the world forgets who Peter Parker was.
That meant the loss of the memories of his best friend Ned; his girlfriend MJ; and most painfully, his mentor Tony Stark.With the death of May and especially without Tony Stark, Peter had nowhere to live and no one to look out for him.
Yet Stranges' spell only erased the minds of... people?
When Queen's College, a small local community college that Peter had enrolled in, gets picked in a lottery to go on a field trip to Stark Industries, Peter Parker is still enrolled as an intern to Stark Industries by F.R.I.D.A.Y. unbeknownst to everyone.
Tony Stark has no idea who this kid is.

The man reaches for a screwdriver, returning to fiddling with the gear in front of him, “What, you don’t want to? Are you embarrassed of us? Embarrassed of me? Really, kid, I thought that you—”
“I’m not embarrassed,” Peter rushes to defend himself, “I just… I don’t know. It’s weird. I live here. We’re basically going on a tour of my house. And half my classmates don’t believe that I’ve even stepped foot in the tower, so they’re all going to be weird about it tomorrow, and it’s… it’s weird. But I’m not embarrassed.”
“Great! If you’re not embarrassed, you don’t mind if I tag along, right?”
His eyes widen, and he gapes, mouth opening and closing wordlessly like a fish out of water. He thinks about Mr Stark meeting Dr Grace, and decides the longer he can go without an impromptu teacher-parent meeting, the better.

whoever recommended this to me on tiktok might have goated taste and a masochism thing
I loved this fic so so much and im not a person to write notes in bookmarks, less make public bookmarks, but i cannot express how much i loved this fic. I genuinely cried 5 times thoughout reading this. It was my own 5+1, 5 times roma cried because of sadness and the 1 time they cried because of laughter.
Man, tony stark was a little blind bastard but im so glad that he opened his eyes. Really wanted to punch him.
this work may have been the best work ive read in my whole ao3 journey, as it has made me cry so many times.
