There kept being two of Jack. Or a blurry Jack. Or a Jack that looked terrified, and once, Jann could have sworn, a Jack that was crying, but as the doctors had pointed out to Jann, several times, that Jann was very, very concussed. Trouble focusing, blurred vision, occasional memory lapses, and visions of crying Jacks were all part and parcel of a concussion, he supposed.
