    "Come sit down with me, Tommy." Sam says.

    He speaks in that serious voice, letting Tommy know that this isn't something he can get out of.

    Tommy does as told, and sits down with Sam in the empty classroom.

    Sam leans forward on his elbows. He takes a deep breath and looks Tommy in the eyes.

    "Is someone hurting you at home?"

    Tommy's entire world comes to a stop.

    Tommy never really had anyone experienced in magic to teach him. Elementary and middle schools don't teach magic either, especially since the students would be young and incapable of controlling their powers.

    The only way Tommy practised his control with Air was by himself. No one in the neighbourhood shares the same ability, and even if they did, Tommy knows they wouldn't dare enter the house. The reason why…

    At that moment, Clara's calm expression falls into uncertainty. "They uh… they also talk about your Dark Magic," she explains as she carefully eyes Tommy.

    OR

    So what if Tommy was born with Dark Magic? He got accepted to the Academy anyways, so he's not complaining.
    While he makes both friends and enemies, Tommy learns how to use his powers and basically tries to enjoy his life at the Academy.
    But of course, a certain crow-loving immortal man and two other Dark-born boys just had to come waltzing in his life.
