Denki was a lot smarter than people gave him credit for. He knew everything when it came to literature, he was multilingual. Denki could tell you anything you needed to know about brain chemistry and down to the smallest detail of how it worked. He could explain how to stitch someone's wounds, he could walk someone through how to temporarily mend bones. If you gave him the right math equation, he could knock it out within a minute. Denki, evidently, was in some ways, smarter than many people thought.
Alternatively; Five times Denki displayed his knowledge and people used it, and one time people came to him for it.

He huffed, making his way through his contacts to the one labeled ‘Hawks’. Yes, he had been peer pressured, he decided as he pressed the blue call button under his name and tapped the speaker button. The girls were vibrating with excitement as the phone rang. He had to swat off Uraraka as she clung to him to try and get closer to hear the call. The force made his balance shift and made him realize that he was way too drunk to be making this call.
