When I got my acceptance letter from Hogwarts, unlocking the secrets of an Ancient Magic from centuries ago and undermining a fascist Goblin organization wasn’t what I had in mind.
My eyes search the room for an answer, flickering from red, to yellow, to blue, and then to green. Courage, loyalty, curiosity, or ambition. How can one trait define all that I am? I lock eyes with a Slytherin boy, about my age, eyeing me with a certain curiosity. I turn my attention back to the Sorting Hat, but before I can open my mouth, it shouts a name. It rings in my ears as the realization sets in– this is my home– and I can’t help but join in the enthusiasm of the cheering crowd.
Perhaps I’m worrying about nothing. Perhaps this will be a normal year.

Summary
The Calamity Ganon—an ancient evil which has plagued the Kingdom of Hyrule for a century—has fallen to the hands of the hero, Link, and the princess, Zelda. Though they were victorious in sealing the beast, the monstrous servants of the Calamity still linger, and the most of the kingdom was lost to time and taken over by the wild. Opting to forgo their titles and start a new life as regular travelers before starting to rebuild the kingdom, Link and Zelda begin their new life in the Era of the Wild, trying to discover why the monsters still exist.
Little do they know, someone might be guiding them toward a quite unexpected trial...

“Xiao?”
His name passed her sweet lips in nothing but a breathless whisper, the way his grip on her waist suddenly tightened making her pulse spike and the mere sound of her voice was enough to make the very last restraint of his snap.
“Stop.”
Golden orbs widened at the curt demand, the order reverberating in his chest from where it was tightly pressed against hers as her eyes sparked with confusion but when he tilted his head down and his nose brushed against hers, her chest tightened as the beat of her heart quickened.
“Stop?”
The adeptus tilted her chin up, amber eyes sharpening as his gaze flickered to her luscious lips that were hovering a mere breath away from his as the spark in his chest burned brighter and ignited a fire he knew he could no longer fight.
“My name is the only one that shall pass your lips.” He declared, the low timbre of his voice sending a shiver dance over her skin and when he tipped his head down and his lips ghosted over hers, she saw his eyes flash. “And I will be the only one to answer your call.”
