Momo wasn't sure why it came as such a shock to her and her classmates that nitroglycerin was not, in fact, easy to control. The chemical was defined by it's instability, it's ability to go off under near any circumstances, it's powerful blows.
And yet, Katsuki had always made it look so simple. He soared through the air like it was nothing, switching between bullet-sized blasts and missile levels of firepower like most people switched channels on TV. Momo had found herself jealous of his quirk at times, unable to help wondering what it would be like to have such power at her fingertips.
Good news, she didn't have to wonder anymore. Bad news, it was absolutely terrible.

He stumbled to his feet, nausea making his cramping stomach roll uncomfortably. He shrunk back against the brick wall of the building behind him for a moment.

At this point, the only thing keeping him alive is the thoughts of timid bright smiles and emerald green eyes. Todoroki wants his warmth and compassion, and to be by his side again. Until he's saved...by his homeroom teacher.
The Bruised- Bakugou knows he deserves the bruises that his mother gives him. His father no longer cares, why should he? Bakugou's decided this is his karma, for being explosive. For being cruel, angry, bullying, and stupid. This is his payback for being weak, and he can't ever have red sunshine in his life. It's his fault, but Aizawa who visits him in the hospital does not think so.
The Broken- Really, all Shinsou wanted this summer break was to not be locked in a dingy room in a sketchy orphanage. And the muzzle he had to wear, for the "protection" of others. Like he was a villain. This summer, Shinsou kinda just wants a family...and a cat. Cats are good, but so is a family. Then, his hero, the hero he's looked up to his entire life, becomes a hero to him again.
