Summary
Felix and his bandmates are entering their ninth year since debut, and, as always, they are throwing themselves into their next album. Recording, interviews, rehearsals, and perfecting powerful, eye-catching choreography consume their days. Packed schedules have become a normal part of being an idol, but with Felix’s already demanding solo activities added on top of everything else, he is being pushed closer and closer to his limit.
But that’s okay.
Felix knows how lucky he is to be doing what he loves, to stand on stage and perform alongside the people he considers his family. So what if he’s a little more tired than usual? What if the exhaustion never quite seems to fade? What if he can’t shake the occasional flutter in his chest or the brief bouts of light-headedness?
It’s nothing.
At least, that’s what Felix tells himself.
Being an idol is hard work. Everyone gets tired. And Felix has always been good at putting on his sunshine smile, reassuring everyone around him that he’s fine, and pushing forward.
So he keeps singing.
He keeps dancing.
He keeps laughing.
Until one day, he can’t.

Summary
Felix realized then that tears had spilled over the line of his eyelashes and were trailing down his cheeks in little rivulets. Sniffling, he wiped at his face furiously, but it didn’t help as the tears began to come faster and faster.
Chan was beside him in an instant, gently stroking his hair. “Honey? What’s the matter, are you okay?”
Jeongin crouched in front of him and Felix vaguely registered the rest of the group huddling around him, all of them echoing their concern for him.
He was so fucking lucky. Lucky that he had such a wonderful group of people that he had chosen to be his family and that had chosen him back. They chose to love Felix and care for him through good days and bad and never gave up on him, no matter what.
Through his tears, Felix managed to voice part of his thoughts, his voice garbled as he said, “‘M just so- so lucky to have you. To have all of you.”

Or, Felix undergoes a procedure to help with his back pain. He feels a lot of emotions in the midst of being on pain meds and the rest of the group helping him recover when he gets home.
