   Summary

   Since their final showdown with the Mind Flayer, Mike has felt stuck. Stuck in his head, tangled up in everything he was feeling. He’d lay awake some nights, trying to convince himself that she was still alive.They’d reunite with a tight hug, and, after that, they’d finally get everything right. Finally get them right. Be friends, just friends, like they were always supposed to be.

   When Mike decided it might have been time to try and stitch his life back together, the world started crumbling beneath his feet all over again. Places that shouldn’t exist, things changing colours, strange dreams that didn’t really feel like dreams, memories that didn’t feel quite right.

   He couldn’t tell where reality started and his mind ended, he felt like he was losing his damn mind. This time he’d managed to go crazy all by himself.

   Or, Mike Wheeler is being haunted by his dead ex-girlfriend and the colour orange (among other things).
