Summary
A tired businessman feels the spark of life again when he discovers a cringey web novel with a charming protagonist. The protagonist, a man of heroic disposition with a respectably depressing childhood and a future filled with many lovers, is everything the businessman thinks he wishes he could be. After all, why else would he find the character so fascinating? Enraged and aggrieved by the novel's disappointing conclusion, he fails to notice a car speeding towards him and wakes up to find himself in the world of the novel — as the protagonist's childhood bully. Whether it's a dream or not, everything certainly feels real, which is a little worrisome considering the childhood bully's death by starvation and dog bites. Can a modern world businessman fast-track the hero's path to success and avoid the bully's original fate?
Not too closely Scum Villain-esque (since this kind of transmigration is a whole thing and at this point Youtube's recs for me have been a ton of them), but as a SVSSS enjoyer, there's quite a high chance of inspiration from there lol

Summary
Goro frowns. “Joker?”
“The Ghost King.” Ann glances to the side, like just mentioning his name will summon him to her heavenly palace. “The most powerful Ghost King in centuries.”
“I can’t say that I have heard about this…Joker,” Goro says. “But then again, I haven’t exactly been able to keep up with current affairs.”
Ann cringes. “Well, he’s, uh…very mysterious anyway. No one knows much about him. He showed up about a hundred years ago, but none of us—” she waves a hand to encompass all of heaven, “—have ever seen him directly. We’ve just heard rumors.”
After more than two centuries of punishment for an unforgivable crime, Akechi Goro, the God of Justice, has been granted another chance. Determined not to waste it, he spends his time on earth, dealing with incidents that other gods can't or won't handle themselves, all while trying to leave his painful past behind him. His hopes for a peaceful existence are shattered by the appearance of Ren, a mysterious young man who seems abnormally interested in him and who awakens memories that Goro would rather stay buried.

Summary
“There is one other reason I selected this host.” Yaldabaoth says and smiles, slow and lazy, letting Akechi’s canines show, as he reaches forward and grabs Akira’s wrist, to drag his hand forward until the barrel of the gun is flush with his forehead, “You won’t shoot him in the head.”
‘No’, Akira thinks, and he knows Yaldabaoth is right. It’s not just that he won’t. He can’t. Nothing in this world will make him shoot Akechi. It doesn’t matter that it might be the only way to save him. Nor that he knows somewhere inside, Akechi’s screaming at him to just pull the damn trigger.
Yaldabaoth knows it too. Akira can see the victory on his face. It’s the same look Akechi would get when he knew he had Akira beat at chess, or a game of pool. All he wants to do is scream.
“Until next time, Trickster.”
