Summary
Selena is your ordinary lonely goth trans lesbian with an extensive collection of crystals. So, perfectly ordinary already, right? At least, she had thought so, until a chance moonlit meeting with Madison, a strange college student who dresses like she's on her way to a suburban Catholic church and has much, much more going on with her than her appearance would suggest.
The night may be young, but the profound and feral hunger gnawing at what remains of Madison's soul is not.
Note: while the overall aim of this work is to focus on the budding relationship of two women and provide lots of fluffy romantic flair, the story does deal with very real and heavy themes, including instances of transphobia and discussions between trans characters that center around oppression and loss. At the risk of spoiling my own work, however, regardless of what the characters go through, it will ultimately have a happy (if bittersweet) ending for our protagonists. And there will be so, so much girlkissing along the way. Enjoy. :)

Despite desperately hiding from a past she'd prefer to forget, everything changes the night she meets Alex, a strangely alluring human girl with a custom-built motorcycle and an adventurous spirit. When it becomes obvious that a mutual attraction starts developing between the two, Violet will have a difficult choice to make: will she keep running from her past and her feelings to keep Alex safe from the world of the undead and the horrors that follow? Or will she risk everything, even her own unlife, for a chance at true happiness?
This is a novel that I released in 2025 exclusively on itch, but for the sake of accessibility (and since the epub is free to download anyway), I've decided to upload the whole thing, chapter by chapter, here on AO3 as well. Enjoy. :)

After countless years at war, humanity has left Earth far behind, clinging to a hard existence among the stars. Life has begun to flourish anew on the distant planet of Acheron, but rising tensions threaten to undo all of the progress made thus far. All the while, a twenty-six year-old mech pilot named Alimira is just trying to get by, only partially aware that the ground has started shifting all around her...
This work takes place within the "As Embers Turn to Dust" setting created by the band Mechina, set on the planet of Acheron after the events of "Progenitor" and "As Embers Turn to Dust" (album), but prior to "Siege", all while intersecting with those albums' stories. The focus will be on original characters and is written as a sort of "slice of life" narrative, so even if you're completely unfamiliar or only have passing familiarity with the setting, it should remain enjoyable to fans of sci-fi and mechsploitation. This is quite a stark departure from my typical work, but I hope you enjoy regardless. :)
