Sakamaki Subaru is now the most powerful person in the two realms, and he'd give anything to be rid of it. With little stomach for diplomacy and little patience for bureaucracy, the weight of the crown threatens to crush him entirely. Yui, his purported 'bride', does her best to support him, but there's only so much a human girl can grasp about vampire governance.
Kou needs power, and protection. Subaru needs companionship, sanctuary. Each has something the other lacks.
If only it were that easy.
