Summary
“Penumbra (n.) — a part of a shadow where the light is not wholly gone, used especially of the half-shadow cast during an eclipse.”
Evil does not reproduce; it perfects itself. And the Lord does not halt wheels that men themselves insist on turning.
Some would argue whether Henry pushed or István leapt. But they should note, perhaps, that God kept His silence as ever.

Summary
‘We’re all a pawn in someone’s game,’ He said, with a familiarity and softness that pissed Henry off a little bit, but he couldn’t help but listen. ‘Whether you want to be or not. You were a piece on Brabant’s board, but who’s on yours?’
Henry shook his head. ‘I refuse to play games with people. I know what it feels like. I won’t do it.”
Dream-Ištván watched Henry with his soft, almost mournful brown eyes. Henry thought he could see a twinkle in them, a spark of recognition. Perhaps Ištván had been like him once, he thought; perhaps they were alike even now.
‘Well then Henry,’ He near-whispered. ‘I wish you all the best.

Summary
Let me get this clear from the start. I do not condone neither Erik's nor István's actions through out the game, but I love a well written villain, who is more than just your one dimensional Disney evil. I think if they are written as more human (which is done masterfully in the games, especially in the second one) their actions, and their "fall from grace" so to speak are much more understandable, therefor more of a mirror to human wickedness, and more terrifying if you will.
So I wanted to write them in a more intimate setting, in more of a human light. Anyway enjoy this.
Brief summary: Learning Hungarian is hard, the language is like if the Devil inveted it while he was drunk. But it has beauty too... truly... ambivalent.
