Shun attempts to solve the Saiki puzzle as a distraction from his problems. There is (obviously) resistance and the few pieces he can gather are *not* pretty by any means. Can he break through to him and help him behave like a functioning human being? Certainly not, not if these neglected issues threaten to explode into socioeconomic catastrophe.
