Summary
Midoriya Izuku is a struggling college student. Yes, those are quite common but there's something a bit special about Midoriya. Well okay, a lot of things. First of all, he's a male omega, which are quite rare. But he decides it's easier to be normal and conceals himself as a beta.
Secondly, he doesn't know what to do with his life. His mind is jumbled and he doesn't know exactly what he should pursue, and what he should do in life. A job as a research assistant catches his eye.
What he doesn't know is that he caught a couple of others' eyes at his new workplace.
The eyes of dangerous, powerful beings that the rest of the world knows little to nothing about.

All Might had left him on this roof. Bakugou told him to jump off a roof. Izuku looked up at the sky and let his tears fall. He wanted to jump, he really did, but it wouldn’t do anything. His wings always came out when he fell.
He would know, he’s fallen five times.

Summary
Izuku was a good kid; he got his work done, kept his room tidy, ate all of his vegetables, so there was no reason for his life to start out this way. But hey, who was he to complain? At least he was alive, and that's more than most quirkless people can say by the time they're 20.
If you asked him and he was feeling honest that day, Izuku would admit he doesn't even hate his life. Does it suck? Yes. Does he wish he didn't have to go to the school that gave him crappy grades despite him being far ahead of the curriculum? Definitely. Did he wish he had a quirk? Hell yeah! But Izuku knew he couldn't really do anything about any of that.
At least he had his mum...

It hurt, it hurt so fucking bad to think that he wasn't supposed to make it to age eleven. But he was alive and surviving to the best of his ability. He learned how to fight with a knife before he learned how to multiply. He learned how to pickpocket and shoplift before he learned the difference between primary and secondary colors.
Izuku learned how to survive before he learned how to live.
