Before long, he’d see his own breath. The stars would begin to appear overhead.
Out of instinct, Gilbert pulled his jacket across his chest a bit tighter. He was not a fan of the cold. Out of all of them, in fact, it always seemed to hit him harder. Why, he didn’t know. It just did. It always did, and it always sucked.
