Summary
New Orleans, 1933.
Vincent Whittman’s assignment (punishment) seems simple enough: recruit Mr. Alastor Hartfelt, the city’s famed radio star.
But his trip derails the moment he meets the man dressed in a smile too sharp, with secrets too deep, and a presence that hums with something far beyond him.
One broken ritual binds them for decades, pulling them back to each other again and again, to the one soul neither can quite break away from. -

Summary
Dr. Vincent Whittman is a marine biologist who should be writing a grant proposal—but instead, he’s binge-listening to “Southern Strange”, a podcast by the ridiculously charming Alastor Hartfelt.
One episode turns into twenty, and suddenly Vincent is convinced he’s studying podcasters instead of bull sharks…and also possibly falling in love. -

Summary
No one should have been able to survive that. Yet somehow, miraculously, he did. A hunting rifle splattering the midnight bayous of Louisiana red, the howls and sirens, being plunged through a hostile world straight into the afterlife. And now, there Alastor was, apparently alive and well, chained down in prison with a horrific body count still undiscovered and no one the wiser. Vincent couldn’t understand it, but the longer he tried, the more he wanted to find out what exactly had happened to the once-beloved radio star of 1933’s New Orleans.

Summary
By 37, Alastor Hartfelt had a lot of issues. The newest? While at a party in honor of one of his least favorite people alive, he was introduced to a houseguest of theirs so unbelievable that he nearly usurped that title in their first five minutes alone.
He killed men like Vincent Whittman: a Maryland transplant, eight years his junior, hand-gifted a position far exceeding his skill, simultaneously unaware of just how much he makes the lives of everyone around him worse and 100% willing to weaponize that the second it’s convenient. He would have killed him if the disappearance wouldn’t have been so easy to trace. Because now they were not only coworkers; he was also his (unwilling) tour guide to all things Louisiana. But when a night resolves in the last way Alastor expected, he realized Vincent was also three other things: still at the mercy of his hormones, easy to manipulate with praise, and so enthralled by the ‘world’ Alastor opened his eyes to that he quickly proved willing to do anything for more - from advocating for him to other whites, to scrubbing their blood off tile.
As long as they’re both getting something they want out of it, Alastor supposes it could be good to have him around.

Summary
Things are changing. The world is shifting, radio has seen better days, and the only thing more dangerous than a killer’s secret is the desperation of a man trying to expose it at all costs.
As Alastor fights to protect his footing as a radio star from ruthless new investors and a rising tide of conservatism in radio, he finds a different kind of 'fan' in morning news anchor Vincent Whittman: a desperate man, methodical, and dangerously close. A tool to keep his station, nonetheless.
Vincent, meanwhile, is caught between the sharp eye of the law, his hunger for opportunities, and a damning cache of knowledge regarding 'the voice of New Orleans'. All he wants is to unmask Alastor.
Both having sacrificed everything to reach their current heights, they find a common ground.

Meanwhile, Vox just blew up himself and the entire universe and suddenly stands before a second chance. He simply has no idea what that second chance entails.
In other words: The demon Vox and human Alastor time travel roadtrip fic that spiralled and suddenly gained a plot

Summary
"For what is a man, what has he got? - If not himself, then he has naught - To say the things he truly feels - And not the words of one who kneels - The record shows I took the blows - And did it my way"
Following the finale, the hotel and the Vees decide to forbid the now-free Alastor and the now-subdued Vox from seeing each other after the stunt they’ve pulled, afraid they’d cause more trouble for hell.
But obsessive hatred runs quite deep, and if the two can’t find a way to ruin each other’s lives in hell, they’d risk everything to find another way in another place.
Somewhere out there exists a universe in which Alastor and Vox are as close in every sense as possible. Geographically, temporally, emotionally. An alternative version of Al and Vincent on Earth in the modern times. One day, they begin to get spontaneously possessed by their demon counterparts, whose plan consists of tormenting each other in their bodies.
Their possessions won’t always be timely consistent, leading to a few teeny-tiny... mishaps.
