Summary
(Based on Sitting Behind You by RedOrange99)
Yusuke Kitagawa has five color cones in his eyes, zero concept of personal space, and exactly one priority this summer: not letting Futaba Sakura spiral into lonely goblin-mode while the rest of the Phantom Thieves are away in Hawaii or busy with everyday life.
He was going to be in Los Angeles, schmoozing with fancy art people and his fellow classmates and contemplating the metaphysical significance of fruit bowls, or he was, until that fateful call. Instead, he’s poorly calming an angry dad, discovering a new color, and realizing sweat is a thing he can experience.
Futaba, for her part, is definitely not catching feelings. No sir. Just because Inari paints her minis, and smells like lavender and bad decisions doesn’t mean anything. And okay, maybe he’s her favorite person. And maybe she’s cuddling him like a human-sized body pillow. But it’s not a crush. Shut up.
This is the story of how a hyper-intelligent gremlin hacker and an expressionless art boy accidentally fall into something that looks suspiciously like love.
“It’s not a crush. It’s just a highly specific fondness. With cuddling. And feelings. And art."

Summary
After months of getting to know and love Futaba Sakura, knowing that she is the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with, it's all ripped away by one man.
Takuto Maruki.
Akira Kurusu takes matters into his own hands, and stops the mad God in his tracks. Time reverts to its original self, with Akechi dead and gone and Maruki and Futaba alive and well, and Akira in Juvinile Detention. After being freed from prison, he finds out that something went wrong when the timeline was restored. Futaba knows him not as her lover, but merely as his friend.
Now Akira must find a way to cope with this new life in Hometown, while trying to juggle the return of the Metaverse, and Futaba tries to find her way through the complex feelings she has for Joker, but can't quite explain, as well as the dreams that almost feel like memories. Will she push through and recover her memories and her love? Or will she and Akira both fade into the Mementos of what they have lost.
I took a couple liberties with events and the Timeline, but overall, I stayed fairly close to the original game's story.
Persona 5 and all affiliated games, characters, terms, and Lore belong to ATLUS/SEGA.
