“One letter. Twenty-five pounds. After that, you’re on your own,” Remus told her flatly. He knew it was wrong to mess around with someone's heart like that, but there were bills to pay.
“Yes!” The girl pumped her fist excitedly. Remus tried not to be endeared by it. “You’re a pretty alright person, you know.”
“Don’t thank me just yet,” Remus warned. “I’m not guaranteeing you a date with the bloody hotshot or anything. Just a letter.”
She beamed even wider. “Just a letter,” she repeated. “Totally.”

Welcome! Hi nice to meet you! I love All the Young Dudes painfully much. I’ve read all the extra chapters, read Sirius perspective by Rollercoasterwords, everything!
So a friend and I decided what if we at least try to write one from James perspective! This is inspired by MsKingBean89 and Rollercoasterwords.
I will try and post a chapter ever day but remember I’m only human and this is the first “book” I’ve ever written so be mindful.

Color.
It's something our brain makes up. It doesn't really exist. So how come everyone made a big fuss about meeting and touching their soulmate so they could see in color? After all, what's so bad about black and white? Aren't they colors too?
That's what Nico thought anyway. His sister had died seeing the world in black in white. If she never got to see color, then it won't be a big deal if he lives the same way. Besides, the implications of seeing in color—the realization that you've touched your soulmate—that might not be something he's ready to confront.
So, no. Nico did not see the point of color.
That is, until he touches his soulmate and sees what he's been missing out on...

James comes back with some red and green tinsel, sparkling under the dim light of the Luminary. He points to the top of the window, “This, my new ‘allergic to happiness’ friend, is going right there.”
“We’re not friends,” Regulus grumbles. James ignores him, snatching some fairy lights next and jumping onto the nearest chair, lifting the lights across the top window ledge, “Hey! You can’t just decorate my bakery!”
“And later,” the pest continues, “we’re going to get you a tree.”
It's the festive season, and Sirius and Regulus are struggling to keep their failing bakery afloat.
Enter James Potter, a Christmas enthusiast and Regulus's first crush, and his best friend Remus Lupin, an introverted novelist who turns to Sirius for inspiration for his next romance book.
