“Nice bat.” Allison said, the metal glinting in the sunlight.
“Thanks!” Stiles exclaimed, swinging it experimentally. “Do you guys remember that one scene in Twilight? When all of the vampires are playing baseball?”
Isaac, who had just come around the back of the car, gasped, his eyes going wide.
“I love Twilight.” He whispered.
“Jesus. Of course you do.”
___________The autumn after the Nogitsune, Stiles has isolated himself, Isaac deals with the loss of his friends, and Allison is still struggling to recover from her near death experience. So when Beacon Hills reveals yet another mysterious set of deaths, the three of them decide it’s time to go monster hunting.
They quickly realize it's much bigger than a three man job.

They were warm autumn, early september.
They were rich brown soil and coffee dark.
They were sun on the sidewalk and cinnamon chocolate and Derek hated them, but really all he wanted to do was curl up in them like a dog and sleep until the world ended.
