there’s a brief, silent pause in which rumi and jinu stare at each other with what feels like the weight of the world on their shoulders. jinu eventually breaks first.
“oh my god,” he breathes out the breath he didn’t even realise he was holding harshly before smothering his face into his hands.
“what?” rumi snaps defensively, her brows tightening into a tiny, self-conscious frown.
“nothing,” he sighs, dragging his hands down his face. “i just can’t believe that your problem is two of the hottest women on campus wanting to cuddle with you after sex.”

Enid’s fingers traveled down slowly, caressing her thighs. “I’ll take care of you.” She whispered against the seer’s lips. “I promise.”
Fingers touched against her center through her underwear, gentle, but purposeful, and Wednesday’s breath, which she had meant to let out in a slow, dignified way, shattered in her chest, leaving her panting.
The word tore through Wednesday's throat like a broken plea. “Can you-” she started but trailed off, embarrassed.
Enid's expression softened even more, if that was possible. “Tell me.”

After reaching the Citadel, I did not see her for a long time. Shakra loathed the Citadel, and had no desire to chart its labyrinth passages. She had her own journey, after all. To find her master, long lost in these lands. When sitting alone at rest in the rare moments of sanctuary this place brought me, I often wondered what her master would be like. Although we have never dueled, I can tell that Shakra would make for a most formidable opponent. The thought of one who taught her to fight was a concept almost as frightening as the horrors I found within the Citadel.
Then, after trekking through the underbelly of the city and besting the hordes of dangerous creatures lurking there, I reached the base of Mount Fay. It was there that I found her again, her warm campfire a much needed comfort in the freezing cold of the mountains...

There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.

Wednesday, a powerful disgraced demon who once prowled the highest halls, searches for an opportunity to wipe away the shame that doomed her to the lowest levels three long centuries ago.
Enid, a warrior tricked into shackles while searching for a way to gain the powers of her people that were denied her, searches for a way to gain audience with the Gods as she fights desperately in the blood-stained arenas as a gladiator slave.
In each other, they get their chance. But they just might find something worth more than their wishes.
